As we all know that as per the section 14 NMC Act 2019, you can get admissions in Medical colleges based on your ranks in NEET examinations. Be it AIIMS, AFMC, JIPMER or any other medical colleges in India, you will need to appear for NEET.
It is important to understand that every year about 1.5 Lakh students appear for AIIMS where only 1500 students are selected. This also includes 50% reserved seats. NEET examinations are given by 15 lakh students who are open for all Medical colleges including Government, Private or state.
Unlike in previous years, the difficulty level will increase a little. Compared to previous years where 90% of the MCQs were from NCERT, from 2020 we can expect about 70% MCQs from NCERT and the rest from outside.
As AIIMS and JIPMER are now merged with NEET exams where NTA is the main body that sets the exams, we expect AIIMS may contribute in setting up the exam paper.
As the two major exams of AIIMS and JIPMER are eliminated, do expect the difficulty level to increase.
