You all must be aware that both JIPMER and AIIMS exams are eliminated and replaced only by NEET 2020 onwards. Therefore, there’s no separate exam that students will have to appear from 2020, however, this also raises one concern. Now that only NEET exams are mandatory for your selection in any medical college in India, will the exam be tougher?

Well, that cannot really be answered, however, here’s a comprehensive list of books along with topics for you to follow while preparing for NEET 2020. Diligently studying all these books can help you secure 700+ marks in NEET 2020

Biology: Starting with Biology

  1. NCERT: Almost 90% of the questions in Biology are from NCERT. Here, you need to learn the topics by heart including diagrams and labelings. Although the questions are tweaked, yet they all are still from NCERT.
  2. Where to practice MCQs?- After thoroughly studying all the topics, Fingertips by MTG is a must to practice MCQs for Biology. Hellobachho recommends you to practice MCQs to gauge your understanding and time management. If you have sufficient time, you may also study and practice from Trueman's Biology Vol 1 and 2.

Chemistry: Considering that Chemistry is the second-highest scoring subject

Physical Chemistry- Other than NCERT, you can refer to OP Tandon or N Awasthi for MCQs.

Inorganic Chemistry: NCERT is the best choice.

Organic Chemistry: OP Tandon for detailed explanation and concepts. Again, if you have ample time, then you may have a look from Morrison and Boyd.

Physics: While NCERT is the main book to follow, however, it is not sufficient. You will definitely need reference material such as D.C Pandey’s series or you may refer to Concepts of Physics by H. C. Verma. If you want to focus on MCQs, you can go for Fingertips by MTG or NEET Guide by MTG.

Lastly, we encourage you to practice as much as possible as that is what is going to help you get there.
