Learning & Practice are the two major factors that are required to crack NEET. Since you do not wish to take up coaching classes, you need to at least invest in E-learning as it will help you clear many topics that even self-study may not be able to help.

Therefore, hellobachho is the perfect e-learning solution that can help you score very well in your NEET 2020 exams.

Now moving towards your question about the preparation for NEET 2020, make a target score for yourself that you want to achieve like 500+ or 650+.

  1. Make a subjectwise strategy: This means how much do you wish to achieve in each subject in order to achieve your goal. In addition, it also means to jot down the important topics that need your attention and also contribute to securing good marks. We highly recommend you to study the important topics to secure marks from important topics.
  2. Choose the right books: Considering NCERT is your bible, you can score 280-300+ in Biology,70–90+ in Physics and chemistry. It is interesting to note that 80 to 85 questions from 90 are purely NCERT based wherein 70 are direct questions while 30 to 35 are from one liners. The rest are conceptual and applied biology in day to day life. Fingertips by MTG is a must to practice MCQs for Biology. As Chemistry has 3 subdivide categories, Physical Chemistry- focus on NCERT and OP Tandon or N Awasthi for MCQs. For Inorganic Chemistry, NCERT continues to be your bible here. Lastly, Organic Chemistry: OP Tandon for detailed explanation and concepts. In organic chemistry, first of all, do all the name reactions and then the rest. Physics needs most of your attention as for Medical students it is a little bit challenging, therefore, along with NCERT you can refer to D.C Pandey’s series. For MCQs, you can go for Fingertips by MTG or NEET Guide by MTG. As you are doing self-study, there will be times when you will need to clarify topics, you can download our Hellobachho app for such clarification with the help of video learnings.
  3. Time Management is very important for all NEET aspirants. Practice as many test series as possible and try to complete the paper within 2 hours and 30 minutes. Try to solve as many as possible questions in physics and organic chemistry. Each and everyone who is appearing for the exam prepares well, therefore, time management is equally important. To take up an example; Try to complete your biology section within 45 minutes with OMR sheet so that you have enough time in your hand for physics and physical chemistry.
  4. Avoid Negative marking: Save yourself from negative marking by not answering questions incorrectly. We usually recommend the aspirants to Analyze the Question paper and mark them into three categories such as - Easy(E), Medium (M) and Hard(H). Always start with the easy questions, then medium and towards the end attempt the hard questions. Don't stick to any question for long, move on and fill the theoretical questions first in physics and chemistry.
