Candidates who will be qualifying JEE Main and Advanced will have to appear for JoSAA 2019.
To manage and regulate the seat allocation for admissions into 23 IITs, 31 NITs,
23 IIITs and 23 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs),
JoSAA 2019 counsellig will be conducted.
To participate in JoSAA 2019 candidates will have to register and fill their choices.
The registration and choice filling of JoSAA 2019 will commence tentatively from
second week of June in online mode.

Before the seat allocation,
mock seat allotment will be conducted by the authorities in 2 rounds.
Once the result of mock seat allotment will be declared,
seven round of JoSAA will be conducted where seats will be allotted
to the candidates based on their merit and preference of courses and colleges.
All JEE Main and JEE Advanced qualified candidates will be eligible for
admissions into 97 participating institutes.
According to the officials,
over 34,000 undergraduate engineering seats will be open for eligible candidates.

There is no specify eligibility criteria of JoSAA 2019.
However, candidates appearing for the JoSAA 2019
must satisfy the eligibility criteria of its participating institutes.
For admissions into various NITs, IIITs and CFTIs candidates will have to meet
the JEE Main 2019 eligibility criteria along with qualifying the examination.
While for admissions to IITs candidates have qualify and
meet the eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced 2019.

The registration and choice filling of JoSAA 2019 will commence tentatively from the second week of June in online mode.

Steps for Registration & Choice Filling of JoSAA 2019
Step 1 – Get Register: For registration, candidates will have to log-in to their account using their JEE Main 2019 roll number and password.
For candidates who have registered for JEE Advanced,
then such candidates will have to use their JEE Advanced password to log-in.
After log-in,
candidates will see all their basic details like, gender, nationality, state code of eligibility contact information etc.
Candidates will have to check and reconfirm the details.
Apart from contact information,
no other personal data can be modified during registration.
Step 2 – Filling of Choices: Once the registration is done,
candidates will have fill their choices of branches and colleges in order of their preference.
As per the candidate’s qualification,
the available choices for admission will be listed.
Once entered the choices,
candidates will be available to arrange their choices in order of their preference by selecting “Arrange Filled Choices”.
Step 3 – Locking of Choices: Once candidates will be done with choice filling,
they will have to lock their choices and
take a print out of the selected options for the future reference.
After the announcement of JEE Main/Advanced 2019,
authorities will publish the JoSAA 2019 rank list.
Based on the categories of candidates and aggregate marks secured in JEE Main/Advanced 2019
JoSAA 2019 rank list will prepared by the authorities.
Candidates whose name will be listed in rank list will be able to register and
fill choices for JoSAA 2019 counselling for seat allotment process into the participating institutes.

Before conducting the actual seat allocation round,
authorities will conduct the JoSAA 2019 mock allotment.
With the help of mock allotment candidates will be able to know their chances in their desired colleges based on their rank and preference.
Once knowing this, candidates will be able to modify their selected choices of colleges and courses accordingly.
After the declaration of mock allotment result candidates will be given enough time to modify their preference.
The JoSAA 2019 counselling will include the steps like registration,
choice filling, mock allotment etc.
All the eligible candidates will have to register and fill their choices
in order of their preference within the given deadline.
Once the registration and choice filling of JoSAA 2019 will get over,
mock allotment will be done in two rounds.
Based on the mock allotment result candidates will be able to modify their preference of course and colleges.
After that the seat allocation will be done in 7 rounds for all qualified candidates.
The seat allotment of JoSAA 2019 will be done based on the merit of the candidates and his/her selected preferences.
Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to download allotment letter
and pay the seat acceptance fees after which
they have to report at the reporting centres for document verification.
Once the documents are verified,
candidates will have to to report to the allotted institute to confirm their seat.
The seat allotment of JoSAA 2019 will be held in 7 rounds along with the two mock allocation.
The result of round 7 of JoSAA seat allocation 2018
has been released.
Based on the performance in the qualifying examination (JEE Main or JEE Advanced)
and choices filled during registration,
all the registered candidates will be allocated seats.
In order to view the result of seat allotment,
candidates will have to log-in into their account using their JEE Main roll number and password.
Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to download the provisional allotment
letter and pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 35,000.
Once the seat acceptance fees is done,
candidates will have to report to the reporting centre (RC) for document verification.
However, if a candidate is not satisfied with the seat allotted to him/her
they will have the following options to carry out.
Lastly, all the candidates will have to report to their allotted institutes
to confirm their admission by paying remaining academic fees.

is the previous year opening and closing ranks of JoSAA.
The participating institutes of JoSAA 2019
are the one where candidates will be offered admission based on their rank,
availability of seats and other factors.
There are a total of 97 participating institutes of JoSAA 2019.
While filling the choices,
candidates will have to select the institute from these participating institutes
which will include 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 20 GFTIs.

Once the seat is allotted to the candidates,
