Recently it has been announced that unlike last year JIPMER and AIIMS exams are now eliminated and all the selection for any college including AIIM will be done on your NEET exams.
This will be followed from 2020
As we all know that every year about 1.5 Lakh students appear for AIIMS where only 1500 students are selected which includes 50% reserved seats. Whereas, NEET examinations are given by 15 lakh students who are open for all Medical colleges including Government, Private or state.
Indeed, unlike all these years, the difficulty level will increase a little. Compared to previous years where 90% of the MCQs were from NCERT, from 2020 we can expect about 70% MCQs from NCERT and the rest from outside as AIIMS may contribute in setting up the paper.
As AIIMS and JIPMER are now merged with NEET exams where NTA is the main body that sets the exams, we expect AIIMS may contribute in setting up the exam paper.
As the two major exams of AIIMS and JIPMER are eliminated, do expect the difficulty level to increase.
