While Physics for JEE is anyway a challenging subject, it also has a very vast syllabus to cover.

However, I’ll first start with the overall syllabus for both Class XI and Class XII so that you know what you have to study:

Class XI

Class XII

Here are some of the important topics that you must really have a deeper conceptual understanding of:

  1. Modern Physics
  2. Optics
  3. Thermodynamics
  4. Waves and Sound
  5. Electrostatics
  6. General Physics
  7. Law of Motion
  8. Kinematics
  9. Work Power Energy
  10. Magnetism
  11. Fluid Mechanics
  12. Alternating Current and Electromagnetic Induction

Books You Need To Refer:

I guess you have already studied well from your NCERT for both Class XI and XII. Although we say HC Verma and DC Pandey are good for reference materials but actually they play a very crucial role in your Physics Preparations. You will have ample number of physics problems which you can practice. In addition, once the syllabus is over, practice from Previous Years Papers that can really help you get used to the exam pattern.

If you have any questions, I have prepared a list of video lectures that you can use during your JEE 2021 exam preparations.
