How do I prepare physics for AIIMS?

Although Physics has the least weightage in the exams, it is the most difficult to score and need maximum preparation.

Now that AIIMS and JIPMER exams are eliminated and you will get admissions based on your marks in NEET, you need to study very hard. You need to score 700+ to be eligible for AIIMs Delhi in NEET 2020.

1. Focus on Important Topics: Some of the important topics to study for your NEET 2020 are:

Physics Electronic devices

Electrostatic

Heat and thermodynamics

Kinematics

Laws of motion

Magnetic effect of electric current

Oscillation

Waves

2) Books to Refer: NCERT is the main book to follow for concepts, however, you may also refer to D.C Pandey’s series. Be it theories, objectives, or even topics like Waves and Thermodynamics, you have a vast range of volumes by DC Pandey which you choose to study. If you want to focus on MCQs, you can go for Fingertips by MTG or NEET Guide by MTG. If you are aiming for AIIMS Delhi and preparing very hard, then you can also refer to HCV for a detailed explanation.

3) Practice: It is essential to practice about 60–100 MCQs and numerical for each topic from NCERT and DC Pandey. In addition, practice as many Mock Tests and Test series as possible to enhance your Performance and Time Management.
