So there are 45 questions in total which are asked in the Physics section.

Class XI holds 19 Questions of 76 Marks and Class XII holds 26 questions of 104 Marks.

  1. Conceptual Understanding: First and foremost you need to have a clear understanding of all the topics from you NCERT and any other reference material such as D.C Pandey or H.C Verma. Having concepts clear is very helpful in further practicing Physics. If you have a clear understanding then almost 50% of the work is done.
  2. Practice: Are you doing enough practice in the subject? Ensure to practice an ample number of MCQs, Mock Tests, Mock Tests as well as Previous Years Papers. This helps you to get used to the exam pattern as well as prepare well in advance.
  3. Solve Theoretical Questions First: Although in a subject like Physics, the number of theoretical will be relatively less, you can score well in this section. Moving forward, you can then focus on numerical. Most of the students' loose marks in the numerical, however, if you are well prepared you can score pretty well.
  4. Avoid Negative Marking: It is important to save yourself from negative marking as it can cost you much more. Therefore, be very cautious while you are solving numerical as most of the times students lose marks in numericals.
