How can I prepare for the NEET in the last 2 months with the completion of a 50% syllabus?

Well with only 50% syllabus completed till now and with a limited time of 2 and a half months, no magic will happen. However, you can still clear the NEET UG 2020 exams.

Now coming to the strategy, since with this little time, you need to focus on the important topics. Completing all the topics is challenging, therefore, focus more on the important ones.

Focus on Important Topics

Important Topics in Biology to thoroughly study are Diversity in the living world, Human physiology, Genetics and Evolution, Biotechnology and its application, Reproduction, Structural organization in plants and animals, Biology and human welfare, Cell structure and functions and Ecology and environment. These topics are very important to secure a good deal of marks for you. Ensure that you study them thoroughly from NCERT and Practise MCQs from Fingertips by MTG.

Important Topics in Chemistry need both learning and practice. Topics like Aldehydes, Ketones And Carboxylic Acids, etc are something you cannot miss at all. In addition, Biomolecules, Chemical Bonding And Molecular Structure, Chemical Kinetics, Coordination Compounds, Equilibrium, Organic Chemistry - Some Basic Principles And Techniques, p-block Elements, Redox Reactions and Thermodynamics are some of the topics which can secure 100+ marks in your NEET exams. Learn all the important formulae. Also, you must know the derivation of all those formulas so that you understand the application.

Important Topics in Physics are: Here are some of the important topics to which can help you secure 90+ marks: Physics Electronic devices, Electrostatic, Heat and thermodynamics, Kinematics, Laws of motion, Magnetic effect of electric current, Oscillation and waves.

Strategy for Marks

You must be knowing that 50% of the questions are from Biology which means you must spend the maximum amount of time to polish and master that. With the help of Biology alone, you can easily score up to 320- 340 by simply mastering the subject with the help of NCERT and FingerTips by MTG.

Chemistry and Physics together comprise of 370 marks. You can easily score up to 170 marks in Chemistry alone. Physical Chemistry needs both NCERT and a reference material which could be either OP Tandon or N Awasthi for MCQs. Further, you can stick to NCERT for Inorganic Chemistry and for Organic Chemistry, you can rely on OP Tandon for detailed explanation and concepts. Now coming to Physics, you must strive to work hard and score about 140 from 180. Other than NCERT, you may go through D.C Pandey’s series or HC Verma. For MCQs, you can go for Fingertips by MTG or NEET Guide by MTG.

MCQs, Mock Test and Previous Year Papers

For every Topic or Chapter, you finish, try and do as many MCQs and Previous 10 Years Papers as possible. This way you will be able to practice more and more.

Avoid Negative Marking

Be cautious about answering any question incorrectly. One smart way of answering questions is, Analyze the Question paper and mark categories like - Easy(E), Medium (M) and Hard(H). The safest way is to start with easy questions, then medium and then attempt the hard questions.

As only few months are left and you are running out of time, you need to practice a minimum of 2–3 Mock Test in a week.
